Need side yard of courtyard villa concreted

I don't post often so don't yell if I am in the wrong place. Just help me.

Does anyone have a recommendation for someone who can replace my dirt with cement on my courtyard villa? thanks in advance.

T&D Concrete is one of the best concrete contractors. But, you need to be careful because half of your side yard is probably your next door neighbor's property. Many courtyard villas already have concrete on one half of the side yard. In any event, you need to get a plat and discuss the project with the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Go to districtgov.org.

I hope you’re not talking about the 1 or 2 foot area up against you neighbors house in you side yard? If so don’t do it it’s an easement are for drainage. Also nothing can touch his house like plants. If I read restrictions right have to maintain 1 foot clearance so don’t damage his house?

I am a little confuse as most courtyard villa have concrete along the size up to about two feet of the a joining home. Do you not have this concrete.

I have owned two CYV's. The first was a 2/2, and only 1,176 sq ft. It did not have concrete within 1-2' of the neighbors home. It had a sidewalk, and was more like 5-6' from their home. My 2nd home is a 3/2, and is 1,700 sq ft. It had all grass between the neighbors home and mine. I installed a sidewalk, but again it's 5-6' from their home.

The property line runs down the middle of the 2 homes - usually 5' off from your neighbors home as that is the setback required. I'm not sure whether you can install concrete there or not - as stated, you can't put anything in that would change the drainage for the home.

Check with your county and with ARC for correct guidelines. Whoever you get to do this, make sure they run it through ARC... you don't want to put it down, then have to tear it up again.
