Cable TV

Does anyone use the cable tv service being advertised on Page A7 of today’s Daily Sun?

If so, what are your experiences with it? Likes? Dislikes?

Thank you.

Unless one gets that paper, how would one know what service you are asking about?

Forget it. Just get good internet and stream whatever you want for less. If you want "cable" TV, you can subscribe to YouTube TV, Hulu, or any of several other streaming services. Don't want to pay for TV? Put up a decent antenna and get 50 local channels for free. If you don't have a cell phone, there are plenty of ways to do free telephone calls over the internet. You don't need to pay extra for "telephone service" these days if you have access to the internet.

It doesn’t have a name. That’s why I’m asking. Just refers to it as “senior cable”.

This not actually cable. It is a service company that will evaluate your needs and likely offer you a satellite service. The phone number is for this company:

The name of the company is actually Senior Cable. I checked out their website and they seem to be providers of cable TV to nursing homes and assisted living facilities. They really didn't seem to offer anything for individual houses. Seemed like a strange business model to me.

You mention a good internet connection. Is there one you recommend? I plan on returning Comcast equipment when I head north but I will need internet to run Hulu when we come back.
