One of the guys in my golf group yesterday mentioned they knew a powerline worker and recently they had to dismantle an American Bald Eagle nest on one of the powerline towers adjacent to Belle Glade. They said, they found 9 dog collars in the nest. Besides coyotes, that's another reason to always watch your dog and when outside your yard have them on a leash.
