Be sure to read the acknowledgements at the bottom. China is still a valid and recognized part of world medical research. Sometimes the desire to cast blame is greater than our need to know the truth. |

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), located here in the US, is also working very hard on this. They were recently on CBS discussing this topic.

Unfortunately doctors in China have to be careful what they say because of the communist leaders. I am guessing now all of the info leaving China is being reviewed by a government official.

My guess is the Chinese have had this cure all along just waiting to share it after the rest of the world’s economies have been destroyed .

There is a lot of promising work being done to find something that can treat this virus. One drug that shows promise of being very effective is a monoclonal antibody called Leronlimab. It is near approval as a treatment for HIV and has been used to treat some seriously ill Covid-19 patients, under an emergency use program. Several very seriously ill patients who were not helped by other treatments did recover after being treated with Leronlimab. Phase 2b/3 trials are underway at several locations. Initial results should be available soon. I'm hopeful and expecting that either this drug or one of the other treatments under development will be successful and available before any of the vaccines might be ready for use. If so, we will be able to return to our normal lives with more confidence by early fall.
