Great experience with golf cart major repair.
 

I recently had a catastrophic transaxle failure on my gas Club Car. I could not find anyone local interested in trying to repair the problem. Everyone I contacted either flatly refused to consider the job or wanted me to buy a completely new rear end. On Facebook, I found a young man, Kyle Sumpter. who is a former USAF fighter jet crew chief turned golf cart mechanic. I contacted him and he was eager to help. I explained that I expected excellent communication throughout the process and he promised to provide that and he did.
I took the golf cart to him on my trailer but he delivered it back to me after the repair. He had to replace my high-speed gear set, which retails for between $415 and $500. He also had to remove all the metal debris from my previous gear set, clean the gearbox, and replace the lubricant. My total bill, including delivery from his shop was $610. He is skilled, courteous, and fair and I highly recommend.
