This virus' mode of transmission is via droplets. Droplets are spewed from a person's mouth when speaking, sneezing, coughing and breathing. Droplets are spewed from a person's nose when breathing, sneezing or coughing.
Wearing a mask, even if it is made from paper towels and tissues or cotton cloth, will block the droplets from getting into the air when a person breathes, speaks, sneezes or coughs. Why do you think a person sneezes or coughs into a tissue?.....to block the droplets and what ever else will spew from a person's mouth or nose.
