Hole In One's
 

It's comical to see all the hole in one's that are being posted. What a joke, just glaze the pvc and it's considered holed out. 10 foot putt that just nicks the pvc and ends up 12 feet away, great putt it's in! Make it more realistic use noodles in the cup, that way it has to go in and can be lifted out with 2 fingers.

It doesn't hurt you. Relax.


I think all Hole-in-One turn in are funny, but no need to rant.

It's Holes in One, not Hole in Ones. And who cares. If people want to fool themselves let them.

I agree... if there is a significant increase in "hole in one's" now... you have to question how many of them would bounce out of the holes... or skim the holes... or fall about 1/8 of an inch short.
But you know what... the vast majority of the PVC holes in one people will never really know if their shot would have been a hole in one or not. But... these days... I guess it doesn't really matter.

More debatable than you make it sound.

What difference does it make? It sure makes you feel good to get so close to the flag on the first shot.

I got one last week but didn't count it.

It's comical how this bothers some people.

With the PVC insert, I'm wondering how the ball is supposed to get back to the kiosk at the last hole.

I got one, landed on the green rolled up to the flag and softly tapped the rim. Still putting an asterisk next to it. But happy.

Hey guys & girls, Just a comment about the number of holes in one that have been listed!
I believe that this is a disgrace for golf!
Let's start from scratch and label it as it should be labelled! ...NOT A HOLE IN ONE ....but....A POLE IN ONE!!!
Hopefully the "Happy Paper", "The Daily Sun" will see this and change it for what it is!

I agree that it is not a hole in one. As far as my prioritized list of grievances go, I will slot it in at 1134 bumping putting the emphasis on the last syllable when saying "president" down to 1135.
