Gargling treats COVID?
I thought my experience was just unscientific conjecture until I read this today:
COVID-19 transmission could be prevented by mouthwash, study suggests | Fox News ^Shazam! When I was sick in February the only thing that made me feel better was gargling. Did I officially have COVID? Who really knows since there were no tests then. While I felt bad, I tried gargling with salt water, with hydrogen peroxide/water, with mouthwash but my favorite was gargling with straight Vodka because the relief lasted a lot longer. It really helped me feel better. Unscientific? Yes. But if it actually helped others, wouldn’t that be great! It’s simple, readily-accessible and cheap so I t’s worth a try, right? So if you start to feel a sore throat and dry cough, why not try gargling at least until you can go to the doctor or hospital if you need to. Stay well, Villagers. |
Would scotch work?

Cutty or Old Mr. Boston might work....I'd be okay spitting either of those out if I had any |

Early April I started getting a sore throat. Had an Uber driver pick up a bottle of 151 Rum for me. Did a few shots per day and sore throat went away. The only way to be sure is nuke it with 151. :coolsmiley: |
