Like all Cody's the place is a dump.

If you can't answer the question, why not just stay out of it. No need to highjack a thread.

To the OP, it was in the paper yesterday that the owner isn't going to re-open until he can get closer to 100% occupancy. At 50% he said it is not economically possible.

Well said!

There is a discussion on The Villages Talk facebook page, someone posted that the Daily Sun had an article that said Cody's was not going to reopen, and someone else added that they heard they filed bankruptcy.

Drove thru BWood last night.

Nice to see some business for the food establishments.

Nice to see all the social distancing going on.

Hoping the 50% is better than nothing for the operators.

Well if the report is true regarding filing for bankruptcy " Cody's " has had multiple health violations at every location.

So really this should not come as a surprise.

The Rodents will just have to find another " Venue ". Planters Peanuts will take a hit.

After the shutdown was not Cody's attempting to sell their meat to the public rather than giving it away to food banks?
What goes around, comes around.

Who knows. Should they lose even more money?

Yet you suggest they give stuff away.

Giving food away before it rots to those who need it but can't afford it, in my opinion is not giving "stuff" away.

You’d have to call them and get the details. Since I’ve never owned a restaurant, I don’t know the legalities. What did you do at your restaurant?

Food given away by " Cody's " ? Are you serious ? With their numerous failed Health Inspections it is comparable to Getting Food From China.

Look we tried Cody's twice the rest rooms at Sumter Landing and Brownwood are nothing short of a disgrace.... that alone is a pretty good indicator.

Enough said if true Good Riddance.

It's disappointing Codys has made zero effort to open up and get some money flowing for their employees. Maybe there are underlying issues the public isn't aware of.

If so many violations how come they were not shut down before this?
