Love bugs on cars: partial solution
1 Attachment(s)
Apply Saran Wrap to the front bumper, being careful not to block the radiator air intake grill; when there are enough bugs caught that you want to remove it, simply peel it off, roll it up in a ball, throw it away, and apply a new piece. This can save time and money by reducing the number of times that you need to go to the car wash.

They are pretty much gone now. When they were here I just kept a small bucket of soapy water in the garage and wipe them off when I pull in, not a big deal and don't have to be careful doing it. Drove from Fenney to Target on 441/27 and then across 466 to 301 and back south to Fenney. When I got home there was one bog on my bumper, I wiped it off and then put the bucket away until fall.

I'm counting on you. :ohdear: |
WD 40 or Pam cooking spray is much easier and does not affect the paint job regardless of what the recent article in the newspaper implies. Works like a charm.

We use Sprayway glass cleaner - spray it on the bumper and let it sit a minute or two. Then use one of those netted dishcloths to remove the bugs. Works great!

Will definitely try the Saran wrap next season....

Keep a good layer of wax/polish on the front end. As soon as I get home I use a damp rag to clean away those pesky bugs.

the little buggers seem to be done for now....I too had been using Pam (mistake)...will try the WD40 in the fall....
