Another mask effectiveness study

Yet another study regarding mask effectiveness.......conducted scientifically........given a choice of staying home or wearing a mask? No contest wear the mask.

And if the effectiveness is any where near conclusions.....why would one not wear one?

Wearing a face mask can reduce coronavirus transmission by up to 75 percent, study says | Fox News

And we already know, the reaction of the mask nay sayers.....and those who will go after the media source and bypass the message completely.

I'll discount the media source, and twist the article. Here goes:

It's not really 75%. It's only 40%.

That's enough to convince me that wearing a mask has benefit, and there's very little downside to wearing one - other than inconvenience and a some claustrophic anxiety, which is temporary.

75%, 40% or whatever. It's enough for me: I'll NEVER let my hamster go out in public again without a mask! :jester:

Hamsters are dumb!
They spend all night running in a wheel.
Do not trust hamsters, they hate humans, and would stay healthy just to spite us!!:)

Thanks for sharing

though IMHO I suspect that at this point scientific tests aren't going to make much of a difference

people have made up their minds that they are gonna wear masks or they aren't going to wear masks

The new norm? Maybe we should have been doing this for years. How about eye protection? Let's make everyone feel guilty.
