Fenney Grill/Rec Center Road Closure
 

This afternoon (Tuesday, June 2, 2020) I noticed several "Road Closed" signs blocking the roads going to and from the Fenney Grill and Recreation Center. Does anyone know why the road is blocked off?

I think you saw the closed road signs for Red and Gray fox.

Think T.V. announced it (maybe the paper and/or online) that they were having closures to fix some pipes that had gotten damaged somehow.

The Fenney Way road closer is in the Village of McClure for a week, not Fenney, the only road closed in Fenney is the entrance to the golf courses which are closed for a month. The Rec center and Bar/Grille and pool are open.

"Crews are working to repair stormwater piping in the Village of Fenney.

"The work has prompted the closure of Fenney Way from Warm Springs Avenue to Corbin Trail through Saturday, June 6.

"Village of Fenney residents living North of Corbin Trail will still have local traffic access using Fenney Way approaching from the South of Corbin Trail."

That's what the news site says, but it's actually the village of McClure, not Fenney. I live in McClure on a street impacted by the closure, so have to detour this week because of it. Well east of the entrance to Village of Fenney and the Rec center.

Where was the sign blocking the Fenney grill , more fake news

The entrance to the golf courses were closed not the entrance to the village of fenney. We went to get gas for the golf cart today and there was a minor golf cart detour to get to the gas pump and another to get back on the MMP.
