Sources for developing 35mm film

We have discovered several rolls of Kodak 'advantix' film (not 35 mm) from long ago that, from the indicators on the canisters, have yet to be developed. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of a source that will develop our film and return either hard copy prints or JPG's? The big box retailers and drug stores don't seem to be in the business any more. Thanks in advance for the benefits of your experience.

wow....this may like looking for a needle in a haystack

no first hand experience, as we switched from film decades ago....however if it were me, I'd get in touch with Kodak HQ...they may know of someone that still does it

Kodak 'advantix' film

A quick Google search for "Kodak 'advantix' film" pops up a number of firms who claim to be able to process this into either prints or digital image files. Unfortunately they all require you to mail in your film, and I haven't dealt with any of them and so can't make any recommendations. Good luck though.

I’m guessing but there must be at least couple dozen photography clubs in TV. Stop by one of the meetings.

They should be able to answer your question.

These three Walgreens indicate they have a photo lab, and even if they don't, they can send it out to a third party and have back in 3 to 5 days.

walgreens with photo labs zip code 32162 - Google Search

Walgreens Photo: Same Day Prints, Cards, Books, and Gifts

Years ago there was a firm, Seattle Film Works that I used for years with excellent results, if this is one of the mail-in firms I would trust them.

Google for a dedicated camera store. Not a drugstore. Im sure they will develop it or send it out to be done.

CVS still advertises on their site, that they develop 35mm film.

I recently found several rolls of exposed 125 film and one 35mm Ektachrome roll, and found a company on the West Coast, The Darkroom, to develop it. It was very expensive and most of the film was beyond saving, but they got it done in a couple weeks. Check thedarkroom.com for details.

35 mm film developers

I just had 42 rolls of 35 mm film canisters development at CVS. I did exhaustive research and it was easy as ever.

That's probably Video Vault in Belleview that Redfly mentioned earlier, they advertise quite often. I was going to mention their name myself, but they seem to specialize more in transferring old VHS tapes, 35mm film and turning out digital media of the old product. I don't remember ever seeing the words film developing. They also want only large amounts, I was going to take about 20 slides to them, but their rates are usually for large jobs.

It only takes a phone call to find out.
