Recognizing the most dangerous jobs in America!

I totally agree that recognition of all the good LEO's... is absolutely warranted. :thumbup:

They perform a needed and hazardous job...often with not enough recognition.

While we're on that subject though, let's not also forget to appreciate all of those others who have hazardous jobs...that make/made our lives better. :cool:

So this thread is for all of those retiree's here in The Villages, that worked in dangerous occupations...and made it safely to retirement here in TV.

My hat is off to you. :ho:

13-Miscellaneous agricultural workers-Ditto.
14-Helpers, construction trades- Ditto.
15-First-line supervisors of mechanics, installers and repairers-Ditto.
16-Police and sheriff’s patrol officers
Construction laborers
Maintenance and repair workers, general
Mining machine operators
Operation engineers and other construction equipment operators
Bus and truck mechanics and diesel engine specialists
Electricians
Heating, air conditioning, and refrigeration mechanics and installers
Athletes, coaches, umpires and related workers

The "point" of your post is pointless. First, it's not his list; it's a list compiled by the Dept of Labor, i.e. bureau of labor statistics, concerning the ranking of lethality in certain occupations. Second, It really has NO bearing what any particular member feels about the ranking - the ranking is statistically correct and easily verified.
