How to save more Black lives
 

Black lives matter, but we are not going to save many by focusing on Police brutality.

9 unarmed blacks were killed by Police last year. I think we are already past 9 black deaths caused in the past week of riots (protesting Police brutality)

Several thousand blacks were killed by blacks last year. Every year thousands of black on black homicides. From 1976 to 2005, 94 percent of black victims were killed by other African Americans.

Want to save more black lives? Focus on black brutality against blacks, the Police are amateurs in comparison.

Or focus on black families with two parents so kids can grow up in a stable environment where kids are able to learn the value of education and right and wrong..

If the black leadership really cared about their people this is where the focus should be.

tl;dr version: MOST crimes against children by one of their parents, were committed in white families where both parents were still married to each other.

Moral of the story: you don't have to be a single black parent to commit a crime or devalue your child's life. You should probably be white instead, since the odds are greater that you'll do exactly that.

One parent of ANY color will have a harder time managing child-rearing than a happily married couple of ANY color. But as you demonstrate so amazingly clearly, a single black parent will automatically be placed lower on the food chain, simply by virtue of the color of his/her skin.

The thread is directed to saving black lives. Obviously the same recommendations apply no matter the race.

Silly me thought the topic was saving more Black lives.

In this world we live in tough to earn a good living without two breadwinners in the family. A single parent of any race will have a tough time doing that.

As you should know a much higher percentage of Black families are single parents as compared to other groups. Do you not think this is a problem?

Unfortunately facts don't support agendas.

One way to save more black lives would be for them to STOP BREAKING THE LAW. The same is true if the topic was saving more white or Hispanic lives as well.

Funny how committing crimes get them more time to spend with police.

I would believe that many informed people see that if ANYTHING DOES NOT fit the narrative or goals of most of the Media or political parties, it would not be published or discussed.

On the other hand if ANYTHING DOES fit their goals or narrative - THAT is the focus.

I have 2 News sites on my laptop that I review a couple times per day. USA Today & Fox News. On most days - the "reporting" is like a Prism. One view from primarily Left<<<, the other primarily from the Right>>>.

This said, it is quite simple to see how ANYONE can/will have their attitudes and views formed if they depend upon ONE news source.

Personally I am an Independent, and split my views on the majority of issues facing the USA & world. But, since March, I have witnessed 'one side' becoming so entrenched in their sole goal - much of their 'news' seems to be untrustworthy. That is my opinion NOW. sad.

Confused as to why it doesn't matter when they kill each other 365 days a year. All across the country just turn on any local news station in the Am see how many were shot over night

Tragedy that the St Louis detective was murdered. Why is that not headlines?

Because it was a black cop killed by a black.

Police brutality just sounds better than why are we killing thousands of each other every year.
