Rename army bases after us army heroes

Why not rename these US Army bases like Fort Hood and Fort Benning, etc after US Army heroes? Here are some suggestions:

Fort York WW1 hero Sgt. Alvin York

Fort Murphy WW2 hero Audie Murphy

Fort Kyle Iraq War sharpshooter Chris Kyle

Fort Baker Most decorated African American Vernon Baker

Fort Barretto Most decorated veteran in Viet Nam Jorge Barretto

There are many more that also come to mind like Pat Tillman, US Grant, Milton Olive, David Hackworth, Cartagena, etc.

No thanks.
The traditional names are the best.
There’s no need to confuse me.

I support this, but only after investigating everything they ever said or did to ensure there was never a racist, sexist, or otherwise inflamatory statement made.

Fort Courage has a nice ring to it

It would seem to me that we ought to not name things after people when there is a better choice. That way when some ugly aspect of the honored person's life is discovered there is no need to undo the name. So I'd go for clear geographic names. Cincinnati named a street for Pete Rose when he became the all time hit leader, then his history of betting and tax evasion and other unsavory aspects came to light. Should have left the street the way it was.
Or maybe we can use good old fashioned American capitalism here. Sell the naming rights like we do with sport stadiums. Oxyclean air force base or Chicken of the Sea Naval station. Good for 10 years then we sell the name again.

All that needs to be done is start a rumor to close the base down and have the local senator come to the rescue. TA DA instant name change.

And just think no more than a week ago all was OK!!
Minority (not race) leading America around by the nose!!!

Our enemies around the world must be watching and laughing as they stand back and watch America implode with the tail wagging the dog!

For clarity of intent:

the tail is wagging the dog. phrase [VERB inflects] If you say that the tail is wagging the dog, you mean that a small or unimportant part of something is becoming too important and is controlling the whole thing. [disapproval]
