Your bathrooms, your contractors?

Looking for opinions. Just had contractors here working in house, sweaty from heat, no masks. They All asked to use our bathroom. I said ok to 1st one but then after thinking about Covid and how I need to protect myself with upcoming surgeries, I asked the 2nd one to please go across street and use pool. I just wasnt comfortable. what would do?

I’d absolutely let them use my bathroom (been there/done that). If you are that concerned about COVID, why do you have workers in your house to begin with?

BECAUSE I ASSUMED they would be coming in with masks. COVID is spiking now and I'm glad u would but then u just didnt have surgery and are waiting on another one. I allowed it but wished I was more assertive and said no. Now I need to scrub good. Lesson learned

You asked for peoples opinions. I replied.

Personally, I couldn’t imagine telling a worker to leave and find a bathroom.

Perhaps you should’ve added, only reply if you agree with me. No offense.

When they walked in without masks you should have sent them home if it concerned you and you should have never asked for opinions if you didn't want one you didn't like. Just sayin' ;)

Oh, to answer your question, I wouldn't have had any inside construction done at this time but if I did and they had to take a leak I would have allowed them.

Why would I say what?

Let them use the bathrooms or don’t. Your call.

So far two posters have said they’d let workers use their bathrooms. Good grief.

Just clean the bathroom after they leave.

retiredguy123 06-11-2020 04:15 PM

I would have definitely allowed them to use the bathroom.

wife says no way can workers use bathrooms and what if they go in your medicine cabinet and take prescription meds which can be very costly

You should not keep medicines in your guest bath.

Correct. Fill the medicine cabinet with marbles instead.
