"This lawsuit is not about health care, it's about our freedom."

"The government cannot draft an unwilling citizen into commerce just so it can regulate him under the Commerce Clause.” These are the words Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli says about Virginia's challenge to the constitutionality of Obama's health care reform law. Cuccinelli has it exactly right.

The case will take a long time to be decided and will end up in the US Supreme Court. But the decision by US District Judge Henry Hudson yesterday to allow the case to go forward is a very important step in what I hope will be a victory for the great Commonwealth of Virginia. Cuccinelli eloquently and intelligently explains that if Virginia loses this unprecedented case it will be the end of our great federal republic.

“Never before has the [Constitution’s] commerce clause and associated necessary and proper clause been extended this far,” Hudson wrote.

This is very important folks.

White House says

A statement from the White House today said, "having failed in the legislative arena, opponents of reform are now turning to the courts in an attempt to overturn the work of the democratically elected branches of government.

Wow, seems the Obama regime is talking out of both sides of it's collective mouths?

Didn't this regime go to court to overturn the laws about illegal immigration in Arizona, which is a Federal law, too?

You forgot the do as I say doctrine and shame on us

for thinking we can do as he do(es).

Not just Obama, all elected officials seem to think and operate the same. Some don't pay taxes, some cheat, most lie about anything that casts a shadow in their direction, they make deals, they knowingly break the law(s).....and that just lists a few.

And they EXPECT, just like Rangel does even now, to get re-elected.....and way too many do!!!!!!!

Richie, not to take anything away from your important link, I just wanted to make a note that Bucco beat you to posting the link. I'm sure you missed it. Anyway, he put it on the thread you started showing the video of disgusting Pete Stark.

The cost to the states of implementing and complying with this out of control spending, kickback health care reform bill will break the backs of the American people and end the way-of-life as we know it today.

Take a look at this chart showing which US Rep. Kevin Brady says only shows "one-third of the complexity of the final bill. It’s actually worse than this," he said.
