Chop Block in Brooksville is AWESOME
 

This little restaurant a short drive away is a hidden gem! It is pretty nondescript from the outside, being in a small plaza, but inside it offers a clean contemporary feel. I have been there twice with a friend and everything we have had had been wonderful. Generous portions of delicious, well prepared dinners and sandwiches. Most of the Villages restaurants food lacks flavor and any creative spark. The prices are great and the service is friendly and caring. We enjoy it after playing golf at Brooksville country club where you will get a workout playing that course! The restaurant is small so you may want to make reservations with the COVID19 restrictions. It is one of the cleanest restaurants I have been in, with hand sanitizer on every table.
