What Family Pools do they hang out in?

Twenty-one year old grandson is living with us for a while. I know there are others close to his age here, but where do they hang out?

I try to wear a properly fitted bathing suit, so as not to "hang out" in the pool.
:boom:

Rim shot. Thank you, I'll be here all week...

My 21yo daughter lives with us, but she is busy going to school full time and working p/t at a Villages restaurant so she has hardly any time to go to a pool. She does frequent Odell & Coconut Cove when time is available. When she first moved here, she found it quite difficult to make friends, as anyone that she did find at the pools were just visiting for a couple of days.

On Monday nights your grandson can find a lot of guys & gals his age at Tony Packos/Gringos bowling alley near the Target parking lot. Apparently Mondays are "service worker's night", meaning that he'll find a lot of the local young restaurant & country club employees gathering to have a fun time after work.

How long will he be staying with you?

Don't know. As of right now, it is a permanent move. He works part time and will be going to school also (in the Spring)

I will let him know about Monday nights a Packos/Gringos. If any chance your daughter wants some company, PM me. I remember you offered once before, but didn't know if she was still here. He is a great guy, but very shy.

Does anybody think their youngsters would be interested in using the forum to
figure out where to meet and to keep in touch with each other?

I wonder how many of our members have teens and 20s living with them?
Show of hands, please? :)

graciegirl 08-04-2010 05:04 AM

Tony.

You aren't allowed to have teens living with you.

tony 08-04-2010 05:15 AM

Oops. I thought 19 was O.K.

I don't know if thats true. There are many "adult children" within TV.

I know he will get a Blue Card when we apply which is good for 3 years. When I called, they did not say he was limited to only one year.

Of course I got the B team when I called (lunch time)

graciegirl 08-04-2010 09:02 AM

He can stay for always. Only those under 19 are limited to 30 days a year.

Our considerably older daughter lives with us.

I knew there had to be 20-somethings here.

Would your son like to show 21 year old around? He know no one here yet.
