20-25 Sumter County Sheriff Vehicles
 

Today at 4:30 Route 229 (at hw 44 / approx 1/2 mile east of I75) north to Hw 475 there were minimally 20-25 Sumter County Sheriff Vehicles and a couple all terrain vehicles with sheriffs on them spread over around 5 miles. I am guessing they were searching for someone on foot considering the wide area they were disbursed over. Can’t find any news information regarding this at this time so if anyone gets the scoop please post.

That would explain it, do they get a police discount?

If I owned a business would give it to them for the extra measure of security.

I think all these jokes about cops and donuts are kinda racist. Or at least Bluecist :)

No...she is in her pool. And if she got out, she would be running to my house for Halal Chicken and Rice

My guess, based on the previous answers, is that no one knows, and we’ll never find out! Certainly piqued my curiosity, though.

I respect our police and most are ok with a little good natured ribbing
