The little calf would not leave the road in a herd of about 30 buffalos beside the road at Yellowstone. I snapped this photo standing on the pegs and the camera light went off. The male buffalo beside us took offense at this and let out an angry sound. Hubby was worried he would knock us off the bike. He shut the engine off. But that’s all the large guy did. We were stuck there unable to move until the ranger showed up with his truck and got between us and the buffalo.

When I was younger and the knees still worked we would go skiing at Jackson Hole every winter and take a day off in the middle of the trip and go snowmobiling through Yellowstone. The place is absolutely majestic. Watching an eagle snag a trout out of the Snake river. Having to stop to let buffalo cross the road. Watching old faithful erupt along with all the other unbeliveable seismic activity. The list goes on, what a great place.

Yellowstone in the fall, as the evening sun is setting, is one of the most mystical, and beautiful places my wife and I have visited in our many travels.

Guy wants to know if anyone is watching a television show and gets responses like those above!
I'm recording the show. Enjoyed the first 2 or 3 seasons.

Very well done series.
Kevin Costner at his best.

Love the series. Watch ed the premier on Sunday night on Paramount ch 452. We were just so disappointed at the vast amount of commercials. 10 minutes of snow 5 minutes of commercials. We started to find it so distracting. At one segment it was 5 minutes of the show and went to 5 minutes of the commercials again. Hard to get into the story with constant interruptions. Don't watch that channel often. Wonder if it's like that all the time.

I agree 1/2 commercials, I just record it and skip over the commercials. But, no different that any other channel. I watch reruns of two and half men and it same 1/2 commercials. But, old Charlie still funny.

I can't watch the show because of that silly deep, gravelly voice that Costner uses, like he's auditioning to do a voiceover for a Dodge pickup truck commercial.
Drives me crazy, like fingernails across a chalkboard.
