I wonder if there will be a new country club as well...

This will be the first 18 hole only Championship Golf course opened in the Villages since Tierra Del Sol in 1997, and only the third 18 hole only Championship course out of a total of 13. This will also be the first new Championship golf course since Belle Glade opened in 2014. I wonder how many 10's of thousands of new homes have been built in the Villages since then?

Will also have a restaurant and open shopping area.

Don't see one on the drawing or mentioned so wonder if this might be it?

Just great, an 18 hour course instead of 27 ( the building of a Championship course was unofficially announced two years ago ). No announcement of new Executive Courses north of the turnpike. How many houses have been built?

Wonder how many golf rounds I can play up North (of44) until this latest carrot on a stick gets served?

No driving range
 

They also omitted a driving range. I am disappointed at the lack of championship courses south of 44. I like the concept of using the golf cart, but travel times to these facilities is not practical. If I would have known this, I probably would not have built in Marsh Bend.

Just another pasture, leveled off, dig some hoes place sand in holes. Do not plant trees for shade. Do not make dog leg holes. Do not plant flowers. Do not have too many water hazards. Place the dirt (sand) that was removed from sand traps in a nice pile, plant grass seed, as little as possible. Use very little sprinklers.. No ambassadors to speed up play. No need for any rakes in sand traps - nobody uses them. Make greens as hard as possible so nobody has to repair dimples

Did you not know that there were no championship golf courses down here in the southern oaks? (south of 44)

Did you look at any maps to see just how far marsh bend is from the facilities you mentioned?
