Walgreens Covid testing line of cars

At 9am this morning Lake Deaton Walgreens Covid testing space had a lineup of cars that extended beyond Walgreens parking, with 40+ cars lining the plaza entrance drive and overflowing to wait onto Hwy 44.

I see posts here about just how many restaurant dining experiences some can pack into a pandemic.

Contact tracing anyone?

I suppose the next few weeks will reveal how all of our individual theories and actions are playing out when this hits home.

Wishing all my neighbors good health.

I don't understand why there is such a line when an appointment is required. Are people just showing up with no appointment?

donate blood at Oneblood and get the test for free....less waiting in line....and a free T shirt....while saving lives! Cant get better than that.

I was getting my ears cleaned out , I was due soon anyway for bloodwork and because I hadn’t eaten yet they drew blood and gave me both tests for COVID . You can just go and get a test at your doctor , why wait in long line most of us have insurance

I've heard there are people who show up without an appointment.

Testing could spread the virus

Don’t care about being tested for active COVID-19. You can’t hide from a virus, and the only thing that will tell you is that you don’t have it that day! Is there anyone doing the antibody testing? That’s the only test I care about.

My cousin contracted the virus, testing positive early April. Now recovered. Tested for antibodies 10 days ago and results were negative. Now what????????

How can sitting in your own car, being handed a swab through a crack in your window spread the virus?

OR they can tell you that you are positive & you can do a 14-day isolation to the stop spread.

If no antibodies formed, the cousin may have had a mild case. They have said all along that they don’t know everything, but that this could happen.

we're going to know a lot more in a few weeks about how safe folks in TV have been playing it

watch if the numbers continue to go sky high we'll have another foolish run on toilet paper

Did you see the segment on 60 minutes on how flawed and inconsistent the antibody tests are?
