Use the instructions above to start a new thread. You will get more replys from a new thread than this thread which has nothing to do with Lumber Liquidators.

confused but willing to learn

I am new to this site and, although I can reply to posts, I can't seem to see where the start thread button is.. Can someone explain to me where it is? I have a million questions.
I also have not been able to see where to post for an introduction on the new member forum. I found the forum with a message from the admin but there is no reply button. Thanks.

TOTV Team 02-18-2012 10:24 AM

When you go to the desired forum/section you would click the New Thread button to start a brand new discussion.

Hi All - I am new to this.

Does my picture appear when I post.

I have posted 1 reply to date, but did not see my pic attached.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks

Hello

I am new to TV Forum. Am I posting in the right place? All the ads are a bit confusing.

TOTV Team 04-22-2012 09:45 AM

This test post was successful. You should go to the section of interest, then click on that section and post a message there. There are no discussions in this forum.

Tony (or anyone out there) -
There is the "post Reply" at the end of the last message like you said, and - there is the "Quick Reply" box after the last message! What is the difference?

You can respond to any posting without quoting by clicking the "pencil & paper" button to the right of the "Quote" button. It will immediately take you to the Quick Post window to enter your post without having to scroll down first. You can later add the quote before posting if you change your mind by clicking a little box in the edit window.

BTW, Tony is no longer with the site as Admin if at all!

Photo Upload

I have been trying to upload a photo of an item that I would like to post on the Items for sale in the villages. It is a .jpeg document but the upload keeps failing. Am I missing something?

If you're following the proper procedure/steps, it could be that the file size for your photo is too large. If you have no other software to do that, you can always use MS Paint as a means to do it.

Bill :)

Business Cards for New Villagers

When we have visited The Villages and have met people they've handed us their "business" cards and it was a really neat way to keep in touch with them.

Now that we're going to be Villagers where can we get the cards printed so that it has all of your information on it (ie: two addresses, two phone #'s etc.)

Thanks for any and all help.

champion6 07-02-2013 10:26 AM

We and many of our neighbors ordered ours at www.vistaprint.com

kittygilchrist 07-02-2013 11:58 AM

me too.

Marlo 07-02-2013 03:23 PM

Thank you so much Kitty and Champion!

Is there a way to get your post to show up each day?

I'm hoping there is a way to get a post (item for sale) to show up each day until it is sold. Can anyone help with this?

Laurie

bambadgis 03-03-2014 10:19 PM

Vista Print is the way to go.

It's mind boggling how many designs you have to choose from
and you don't have to follow their written designs on the card either.

You can change the words to anything you want,
change the font, change the size, etc.,
and that also goes for the placement of the words.
