The virus & BLM

The virus is real. We are told beach goers, bars, restaurants, churches, etc. all are the problem. Not BLM marches, riots and protest. They are OK?

It's not that they are OK.......nobody wants to, or is going to stop them.

New York City is banning fairs, parades and concerts over concerns about large gatherings of people amid the threat of the coronavirus. BLM protests are still ok.

1000 health and medical workers recently penned and signed a letter supporting BLM protests: (but not other types of protests)

We can show that support by facilitating safest protesting practices without detracting from demonstrators’ ability to gather and demand change. This should not be confused with a permissive stance on all gatherings, particularly protests against stay-home orders. Those actions not only oppose public health interventions, but are also rooted in white nationalism and run contrary to respect for Black lives matter.

This is why any statements by medical authorities or Doctors should be scrutinized heavily. Some of them are completely driven by bias not medical science.

Political double speak, agenda driven.

Learn to live with it. We were told that you know.

If anyone at a blm protest gets the virus we will find that the fault is us white racists.

karostay 07-10-2020 10:38 AM

BLM protesters don't respect their own people or cause ! Why should anyone else?
Show some respect for your own people and the rest will resolve it self ..Till then just keep killing each other
Leave the dam kids alone ..Your BLM actions have ruined many a young life far greater than any police interactions have

it’s called thinning the herd, a corollary to herd immunity

Well, yeah. They do support "demonstrations against systemic injustice occurring during the COVID-19 pandemic" while encouraging safe practices. They specifically only condemn those "protesting stay-home orders and calls for widespread public masking."

Boy, you said a mouthful there! (Although we may not agree on which ones.)

Actually, politicians have it right. Allow BLM full access to the streets and give them a free venue to get sweaty and pass their deadly virus from one to another. That way, we get rid of a lot of trouble makers and no one is the wiser. Since it is an election year, everyone is on board with the theme that there is a systemic racism in America, and no politician will criticize or condemn the protests in fear that they will lose votes. On the other hand, if the virus takes out a few hundred or thousands, no one is to blame but themselves. Typical of chicken liver politicians.

It will never be reported that the person got COVID-19 at a protest. Based on the Mainstream media, there isn't one person who got COVID-19 from a protest.

This group is the most heinous, incendiary and terroristic bunch of people who continue to be given free rein by the mealy mouth politicians and business entities who are afraid to lose votes or business. Our first amendment rights are being systematically destroyed. No one has the guts to speak up for fear of offending the perpetually offended crowd. I speak up for America and against those who wish to destroy her. I emigrated from a communist country (Cuba) and what's happening here happens there daily. The similarities are terrifying and If we want totalitarianism and oppression, look no further than 90 miles south of Key West.

"Men fight for liberty and win it with hard knocks. Their children, brought up easy, let it slip away again, poor fools. And their grandchildren are once more slaves."
- D.H. Lawrence.

Think about it.

mjpuleo 07-11-2020 06:27 AM

you got that right Stu from NYC -- I'm from NY as well and can vouch who the real troublemakers are and they get away with far too much!!!!
