A/C Repair Chuck Farrell
 

Saturday morning I awoke at 3 AM to a warm house. (84 deg) Hmmm checked what I could and noticed the thermostat was blank. I pulled up TOTV and inquired about air conditioner repair.

Called Chuck Farrell and left a message. He contacted me at 9:30 AM and said I'll be there in 2 hrs. Upon his timely arrival I told him that the thermostat was blank. He immediately knew what was wrong and said that the condensation line was probably clogged. He back flushed the line from the outside and vacuumed the line from the inside with a shop vac. Total time of repair less than 30 min. Chuck showed me what I need to do to prevent this from happening again. "MONTHLY" pour 1/3 to 1/2 cup of vinegar into the drain line. That will prevent build up. Don't use bleach - it causes corrosion. Cost $65. Life is good.

Del Air put in our Trane AC and my instructions are to flush the line with one gallon of warm water every 1 to 3 months (more often in the winter).
