HOAX EXPOSED, George Floyd, “I can’t breathe”

n the complaint, the authors of which have seen the body-camera footage, the prosecuting attorney concedes that Floyd resisted being placed in the police car. “The officers made several attempts to get Mr. Floyd in the backseat of [the police car] from the driver’s side,” it reads. “Mr. Floyd did not voluntarily get in the car and struggled with the officers by intentionally falling down, saying he was not going in the car, and refusing to stand still. Mr. Floyd is over six feet tall and weighs more than 200 pounds.”

The same document tells us that Floyd, even as he was still standing and resisting efforts to put him in the police car, was repeatedly saying he could not breathe despite clear evidence that he could. Police officers, but few others, know that “I can’t breathe” is the universal complaint of the resisting arrestee. Police officers also know, as most others do not, that handcuffed suspects can fight and escape, especially when officers are confronted by hostile onlookers. (See, for example, this video taken last year in Chicago.)

And that justifies murder? A video from Chicago? What has that to do with anything?

Whatever happened to a simple LEGAL traffic stop?

Why do cops require a driver once pulled over to exit the vehicle, hands where they can see them, interlocked fingers on their heads, walking backwards, then get on their knees?

I get that cops have been killed during some traffic stops BUT not by the average person being pulled over for a non-violent crime.

I've witnessed hundreds of people handcuffed on the side of the road with at least 4 squad cars there while searching the car for whatever purpose.

Why are people treated like that?

Where have their rights to unlawful searches?

Miranda?

No wonder people are terrified once the red & blue lights get turned on behind a car, I know I am.

After finding out WHY I was pulled over I'll tell the cop that I have a concealed carry permit and that my loaded gun is in the console as soon as they approach. I know that I've done nothing wrong, other than perhaps a minor traffic violation.

A few other points.
A member of the public called 911 to report a man waiving a gun at bus shelter.
Armed officers told the guy to put his hands up. He refused.
Man got up from floor to seat of shelter, and started to load or level the gun.
The officers fired.
Turned out to be a BB gun.
What were the officers to do?
Give the guy a chance to open fire first?
Moral of the story.
Don't pull a gun on armed police. It could seriously damage your health!

Amazing the initial post "forgot" to mention these few extenuating elements.....selective reporting!!

I see...JOHN41 is now a reporter who said things from "some" news service with no links so we do not know from where the information came, AND

You found another issue....talk about pre conceived attitude.

This is not a defense of, or condemnation of anyone except those who visit this site and simply ramble on without knowing one single thing about which they speak.

So file a complaint with JOHN41's agent or editor.

Why am I treated like a felon then?

Why do I need to comply to that type of request by a cop for being pulled over?

Don't say that they're in fear for their life because I also am in fear for my life and that I must comply to unreasonable detention while they call for extra backup. They run my plate and see nothing on their screen and I still need to exit the vehicle in the manner I described and be searched!

Is this a police state we now live in?

As a citizen do I still have any rights?

Just a guess that you were never a law enforcement officer or had anyone in your family in law enforcement or you would never make such a post. Numerous reasons could have initiated the stop, and if one were aware they ran the plate and saw nothing, the only way one could know that was that they spoke to them prior to that check, so possibly an aggravated attitude made them justifiably weary, and for their own safety they proceeded with extreme caution.

Last year doing a lifestyle preview was pulled over by an officer who ran my plate and managed to get an answer that license was invalid.

He got my license and registration and found the problem, virginia and florida have different ways to issue licenses. Who would have thought would get stopped for that.

He thought he was looking at a stolen car. And he had backup brought in.

In any case after he came back we had a nice conversation and he was a good guy.

Imagine if I would have shown him an attitude and did not follow his instructions.

I had a couple of members of my family in law enforcement. One cousin just retired and another was killed while on duty.

What reason do you think he had to handcuff and demand me to get on my knees on the side of the highway. I was a 60 year old man with no priors, no actual moving violation cited for or reason given but because I look a "certain way" and drive a certain vehicle I was treated like an animal so yes, I have an attitude. Once he declared that I was free to leave he refused to give me any assistance to get back up on my feet.

If you tell a cop at a traffic stop that you have a loaded firearm, on you or in the vehicle, they will always put the cuffs on you until they check you out for their own safety. I for one would not have a problem with that.
