Posted on their website, suspending all airport shuttles indefinitely effective August 1st.

Wow. They must really be hurting.

Hopefully when things return to normal they can reopen

Sad to hear this, we always used Workman...but these are desperate times for many businesses

Workman Transportation will suspend airport shuttle operations beginning August 1, 2020, until further notice. This is the service from/to Spanish Springs, Lake Sumter and Brownwood.

Lots of private drivers are still out there and booking trips all the time.

Many years since they serviced Spanish Springs. Something a bit odd here.

That is what happens. They made the decision to structure their business to the size of the market. The market for this service to the airport has collapsed. Who wants to put themselves at risk in the closed bus with strangers to take a flight in a crowed plane to go to a place to be quarantined and the return under similar conditioned?

Very true. Would have liked to fly to west coast, rent a car and drive back but too much risk of catching the virus in many places as we travel.

Surprised they kept the service this long.

Since we are talking about transportation to and from the Orlando airport, has anyone used Groome airport shuttle service? I see they are less expensive. Good/bad?

According to their website, Groome will reopen August 26th. They charge $19/one way. They have shuttle services in 12 states, so hopefully they are reputable. The last time I looked, their newer shuttle fleet was parked at the 301/44 corner parking lot. Have not used them, but their price is attractive!!

I used them in March, great service and on time. Price was $19 each way.

They still owe me money from March. They gave me a credit instead of a refund. Guess I wont be seeing that soon
