It becomes more serious when they have you put on your own flotation device.

social distancing and Royal Caribbean cruise line just don't seem to go together....

this sounds like more of a marketing move than an increase in safety

we sailed RC once...felt like a cattle car.....have sailed on the smaller ships 8 or 9 times ever since

Social distancing and cruising do not go together. We love to cruise but not for us until this thing is gone and we can feel comfortable on a ship without wearing a mask..

We sure miss it. Have had 5 cancelled on us this year so our next booked one is almost a year out.

Laughing. A virtual safety tour for a virtual cruise on a virtual cruise ship! Maybe we could have a virtual sinking, too, so we can try out the virtual lifeboats!

Hoping this never happens, but as soon as there is an incident at sea and people will have to abandon ship and realize they have no idea what to do, wear to go or how to put on life jackets safety drills will come back/

I was under the impression the muster drill was a mandatory requirement from the coast guard. Was it changed due to current pandemic events?:ohdear:

Cruises

We have been on enough cruises not like they use to be but everything changes.Same depressingly poor ports in Western and Eastern Caribbean. To many people on newer ships. A PETRI DISH for disease. Since Americans have been banned from Europe next will probably be Caribbean until US GETS Covid under control expect cruise lines to operate sometime in 2021. With Covid issues earlier this year what guarantees will there be if you are infected will the administration allow you back in US and what type of medical care will be available.

No worries Skipper, it's only a 3 hour tour. The Professor and Maryanne said we'll be fine.

That is why most people we know will not cruise again until there is a vaccine and social distancing is history.
