What is south of Fenney and DeSoto?

When I look on the Villages map, the large area beneath Fenney and DeSoto is in white. There is no indication about who owns it or what is on it. Does the developer own this land and is there anything planned for it?

Immediately south of Fenney is all private property for the first 1/4 mile after that it belongs to the American Cement Company LLC. South of DeSoto & McClure is property is predominantly owned by the federal government as a part of the bureau of prisons - it is part of the Coleman Federal Prison complex and is mainly dense woodlands.

There is no plans by the developer to develop these properties. Two miles south of DeSoto & McClure - south of CR470 the developer owns most of the property for the next 6 miles going south, this will ultimately be developed over the next 20-30 years.

There are two twenty acre parcels for sale across from Monarch Grove on 501 abutting McLure to the south and they are not embarrassed to include the price on their sign, 20 acres for $6,000,000.00 and I would assume it will be sold in the near future as it's really close to the new recreation area and zoned commercial/residential.

I don't think they checked with the TOTV'S Posters yet! :1rotfl::1rotfl::1rotfl:

I like the video that they put out. Modest. They tried to illustrate that things are in a state of flux at all times and that plans could and probably will change. People probably heard what they said differently than what I just typed. They addressed a whole lot of concerns and if you were not in the construction business then it's hard to grasp the number of reasons behind a delay. They want to perform and IMHO they certainly do.

Directly south of De Soto is Coleman Federal Prison In a concrete crushing plant. I feel safe we are separated by a thick tree line

I don't think trees are a good protection feature. Perfect for hiding out and not be found in my book.

I assume you are implying a jailbreak, right? I don't know do you.....how many have happened in the life of the prison? Hyperbole!

The "family" will never pay that amount.
