Which Doctors in the Area Will Prescribe HCQ and Z-Pack for Covid Patients?
I'm posting this question simply for the purpose of obtaining an answer to my question. I'm not trying to start any argument about the pros and cons of any particular treatment.
Neither I nor my wife have Covid-19, nor do we have any symptoms of Covid-19. I'm simply trying to obtain information in advance just in case we might be unfortunate enough to contract the virus. It's my understanding that HCQ+ azithromycin + zinc is most effective when given within the first 5 to 7 days of the appearance of CV symptoms. The problem is (as I understand it) that most doctors today will simply tell a patient who shows CV symptoms and tests positive for CV to simply go home and wait and hope for the best. That's not the type instructions I would want to receive from my doctor. If I were to test positive for CV, I would definitely want to start HCQ treatment right away since I'm in the camp that believes that the benefits of HCQ far outweigh the risk. However, finding a doctor (on short notice) who will prescribe the HCQ treatment might be difficult to do. That's why I'm asking if anyone here knows of such a doctor in the area so that I would know who to call just in case I might need a prescription for the HCQ. So, does anyone know of a doctor in the area or region who will prescribe HCQ for Covid-19? Thanks. |
Wear a mask and socially distance

I'd like to know this as well. Can we not respect that some people believe that this treatment might be helpful and other's believe that it is not without devolving to sarcastic remarks.
We really should simply accept that different people have different beliefs. Even if you think I'm wrong doesn't mean that I should be mocked. Isn't this exactly what's wrong in this country today? |
If you find one, please let us know. There are others here who would like to know.

As long as someone’s beliefs do not infringe on others health during a pandemic, sure. Believe what you will. But when their ignorance or position can kill others...no. Do not be civil. Ask people to wear a mask or move away from you.

I think it's a very good question. Next week I'll either have my 6 month follow up with my GP in person, or more than likely by phone since my blood work came back decent. I'll ask him what he would do regarding this medication's use and if he would prescribe. Any medication can or may act differently to any body. Totally unacceptable for this to be used politically.

Due to liability I don’t think you will find such a doctor.

Sorry, but I read the headline "Witch Doctor".
Thank you, OP, for posting this thread. I am going to check with my physician on this topic. When he gave me a check up a month ago he told me he had several patients come down with Covid. At that time he himself had been checked for Covid 10 times so he is on it. |
Following. Would love to know what my options will be on short notice, if I decide this is the best option for myself and/or family members. Knowing ahead of time where such medication may be offered locally seems smart to me - IMO but based on my solid research of very credible medical advice.
