Dr Purcell, TVH Endocrinologist - gone - where to?
 

I saw a notice in today's paper that Dr. John Purcell, a very fine endocrinologist with The Villages Health Specialty care, was no longer with them as of August 1, 2020.

Does anyone know what happened to him and if he will continue practicing somewhere else in the local area?

During my appointment with him in June, he told me he soon would be transferring to the the Villages Hospital and I would need to transfer to a different doctor in the practice

I had the same happen to me with Urologist on a move to different Healthcare provider do to competition they have and observe a DNA in severance package. After approx 30 days I did an Internet search finding his affiliation to Adventist Hospital Orlando. If you like your Dr you can keep your Dr.

It was not in response to ACA Ihave never had issues with that since implemented. People who had crap insurance were affected. If you like your Dr you can keep your Dr by just following him to his new practice never had to change insurance provider.
