Film editing and transfer to DVD

Hi all,

My friend and I are looking for someone in The Villages who has the knowledge, equipment and ability to edit film taken with a video camera and then transfer the material to a DVD. I haven't seen the actual film, but my friend says it's 8mm. I know it was a pretty small camera..probably one of those film micro-cassettes. We are willing to pay a reasonable price for your services and time. Thanks!

I'd be interested too. I have a suitcase full of Reg 8, Super 8 and Videos. I've looked around, but cost seems exorbitant for that much.

Here's what I did: I took all my super 8's and regular 8's to Walgreens; they usually have a coupon. They also do tapes. They put them on a DVD. I then was easily able to edit it on my computer. Hope this helps.

By all means--take your film slides , video cassette, 16 mm to Costco. They transfer -all of these to DVD at very reasonable prices.
