My mom had her car(2011 Caddy) transported back and forth from Ohio several times. If I recall it was about $700 bucks. She has passed, so I can't ask her who she used. I do know it was a larger company that contracted haulers.
The last time she had her car hauled north, she was explaining where she lived to the guy and he said, yeah, I got it when she mentioned her house. He started describing her house to her. Turns out he lived about a mile away and knew the area very well. Upon more information, this is what a lot of those companies do. They find someone who lives in your region and contract them to collect cars as local as possible and haul them all to the same area.
The point was, you tell them when you'd like to get the car there, when you can let it go and they will fit it into their schedule. The more flexible you are on schedule, the cheaper the price will be. |
