Garage stop blocks and/or poles
 

I’m looking for a contractor who installs either the poles or garage stop blocks to prevent running into a garage wall with a car or golf cart. Any suggestions?

Tennis ball on a string.

I have used that in the past but was looking for something that offers more protection.

Order a couple of these. If you don't want to drill and bolt them to your floor simply use some heavy duty construction adhesive.

Those are the type things I had in mind originally when I posted. Thanks at least I have some options now.

An Alternative Idea
 

No need to go through the expense of installing anything. You simply want to know when your car is coming too close to the wall - easy peasy - Affix a tennisball to a chord or string, hang it from the garage ceiling to the height of your windshield. When you pull into the garage, and your windshield touches the tennisball, then you've gone far enough.

Installing poles or blocks might protect the wall, but they don't do well for the front end of the car, should you run into them.

Why spend large sums when there is an easier, more efficient method. Works everytime. Come see for yourself. If interested email me at Michael

I hung a tennis ball on a string. Less expensive.

I would thing the blocks could be dangerous when the car is not in the garage, you might forget they are there & trip on them.

I have this laser assist and love it. A motion detected light is included(with mine anyway) so a light comes on in the garage besides the one on the opener. Easy to install!

Put a golf ball on a string. Guaranteed. Hit it once, windshield shatters, lesson learned!
