360 View on pre-owned

Why does it take days to get the 360 view up on the Pre-owned homes? I would think that since it is such a great selling tool it would be available immediately when placed on the site.

I've often wondered if they wait until a home is no longer a "new listing" (hasn't sold yet) to add the 360 tour. Maybe a cost savings? Not really sure though.

perhaps because they have to wait for the videographer to get there, take the video, go home and edit and then get it added to the listing?

The real estate agent takes a few pictures, posts the listing, and makes an appointment for the videographer to visit the home and take the video. In our case it took about a week. No hanky panky on the part of The Villages agents, no deliberate delay to save $s.

I have a villa for rent and it took about a week for mine to be posted as well. At first I thought was a long time, but I guess considering how many properties there are for rent/sale and only a small number of videographers to make an appointment with then that wasn't too bad.

Hello TednRobin, We have been looking for a long while and have found that Enternet Explorer is good to get the 360 views. AOL does not work. It is so fun to see the entire house. LB

When a home appears in the new listings with a Virtual Tour already available, does that probably mean that the home has had a price change, or maybe a renewed listing contract? Thanks...

IMHO, it may just mean that the video people aren't very busy because there isn't a lot of listing activity in the summer. You'll see a flood of new listings just before the snowbirds return.
