what to do with old trophies ??

have three crates of old trophies and have searched for a way of giving them to boys/girls club, scouts etc as donations or looking for buyers and cannot find any --- tried before we left and nobody wanted them --- anyway any suggestions ??

I threw mine away. I don't think anyone is going to want them.

Ours went in the dumpster

I gave all of ours to a local trophy shop. They said they will reuse many of the components.

We used to live in the Raleigh NC area. There is a brewery there called Trophy Brewing. When they first opened they would take them and convert them to tap handles to give to bars carrying their product. That is where all of ours went.

OP, did you try any of the local schools, they might be interested.

If they have exotic or walnut wooden bases I use the wood to make segmented wood bowls. Just about all of the ones made in the past 20 years use particle board with vinyl "veneer" so this reAlly only works with older trophies.

Segmented bowls are a method of making a bowl out of a flat board on a lathe.

Try grandkids, they may indeed want to have some of grandpas trophies.

Display them at the end of your driveway before trash day with a free sign.

I'm keeping my trophy................her name is on the deed.

Why would anyone keep those it’s like medals in hat I see sometimes on a wall of someone’s home . There were many instances where in a combat stand down they would read the citation but the medal might come later usually if you asked for it , my citations are on my discharge papers , I never sent for anything , and I don’t see the point . I do have one thing from military I display, many years ago when I used to drive home to Boston a friend told me he got stopped at speed trap but they let him off with warning because of Purple Heart plate , so I did go out and get ones over the years I’ve been stopped a few times including once on Morse Blvd where for some reason I was way over speed limit , i was given a break each time but I would never bother to get the physical medal for anything I earned

If the base is marble or stone (NOT plastic) I can use them to make mosaic tiles or jewelry pendants.
