Built In Cabinets and Desk Area For Spare Bedroom..
 

Since I will no longer have my own business when we move I'm pretty sure we won't be bringing my office furniture with us.

Have any of you had cabinets and a small desk/work area built in your spare bedroom?

I would love to see pictures and references to who did the work for you.

We did a bookcase and desk from Babettes in Leesburg. A lot to pick from.

We had Custom Home Closets also. We included a queen size Murphy Bed in our office set-up.

We went with MOVEABLE furniture, this allows us to change the room around if necessary. We actually found a great set of L shaped desk and shelves with pull out file drawers for about 20% of new cost. Took less than $20 for minor repairs and we have exactly what we wanted. This desk and cabinets can be reconfigured to left L, center T, and right L configurations. Also, avoided the murphy or daisy (cabinet) bed and used a sofa bed.

We did something similar to what pjolson did. We used Inspired Closets and are very pleased with the quality and results.
