Sometimes the easiest way to get an answer is to ask TOTVers. (Stationery?)
Does anyone have an online source for classic stationery?
I have a stash of notecards, but there’s not much room for what I want to write. Besides that, they are too little for my big, loopy handwriting — that always goes uphill. (I read somewhere, a long time ago, that the uphill part is supposed to mean I am an optimist — or was it a psychopath — can’t remember which one. I probably read the article in the 70s in Cosmopolitan. Now I read Atlantic — but I digress.) Anyway, my big, kind of messy handwriting needs some regular stationery, plain. I would like for the paper to have some weight to it. (Remember when we chose paper by weight so our resumes would stand out in the pile.) I did a quick look online but I can see it would take all day to get past the bride-market or the cutesy stuff. All I want is plain, classy looking stationery. Has anyone ordered such a thing recently? There are notes to be written that I want to do in the old-fashioned way. Sincerely, Boomerosaurus |
My suggestions would be Staples and Amazon. Lots to choose from at both places.

It takes some filtering...............my bride gets hers from good-old Amazon.

I believe I saw what you are looking for on the shelves at Staples , give the store a call.

Vistaprint.com is separated by categories and much easier to order.

I agree with vista print. Any office supply if you want to compare weight, feel And colors. Also anywhere that does wedding invitations

To find matching paper & envelopes, try searching for stationery kits or sets. Paper should be 24lb or 28lb in the description to get a nice quality paper vs 20lb copy paper.
Funny how spending more time at home makes you want to write more notes to people instead of quick emails & texts...8-) |
crane also - classic stuff

I agree, Crane.

Go to Centsible Furnishings resale store on 441 1/2 mile north of 42. They always have stationary and larger note cards on sale at 12 for a dollar and they are done as a variety pack instead of all the same. I volunteer there and take care of the card area so I know what is being put out for sale. Or just buy stationary at Wal-Mart. They have a selection back in the office supply or in the greeting card area.
