Golf Changes as of 10/12/2020..... Phase 3 Coronavirus Guidelines
Just saw yesterday that moving forward with updated Phase 3 Coronavirus guidelines..... included in the guidelines is mandatory sharing of golf carts again.
I wonder how everyone feels about sharing a golf cart with a friend/ neighbor/ stranger while enjoying a round of golf?? I am wondering why The Villages is rushing to implement the new guidelines, and not waiting to see the statistics that the updated guidelines are working? And not moving in the wrong direction?? How come The Villages is not taking into consideration the many health issues our population has, and the repercussions of their mandatory sharing of golf carts can have on our health?? We all know Coronavirus can be life threatening in combination with various underlying conditions. Please send your concerns/ displeasure to Mr. Richard Baier, as the decision to implement the changes was his. [email]. Richard.Baier@Districtgov.org [email] |
From what I can understand, no one is forcing anyone into a cart with a stranger.
You can still use your own cart solo, stick to cart path, and walk to your ball to play it. How hard is that? Why create a drama over it. |
Not mandatory. You paid your trail fee, you can drive your cart.

Ignore him. Throw a fit and have a tantrum. Dont spend 5 minutes checking distance, club selection and pin position, when you know if you hit the biggest club in the bag, you still wont reach the green. The options are limitless! |
