No political reference?

If we’re not allowed to post any political references I wonder why the site has several political ads posted? The source of the ads probably answers that question.

I have an ad blocker on my laptop so I don't see any ads at all.

The ads you see are from cookies that are personal to you. You see ads based on your interests.

Technically, this type of tracking isn’t tracking you as an individual; it’s just a side effect of the places your computer has visited. Any computer that happens to view product X will likely see ads for X as they visit other sites.

For example this ad ( THAT I CAN SEE AND YOU CAN'T) is one of a rug I have coveted for our lanai;

Not so. I have no interest in any of those political ads, or all of the health aids, etc.

I assume they are paid ads, just like you would find in any newspaper, magazine or other paid sites. Does anyone think this site is someone hobby?

I see a lot of bike related ads and motorcycle ads. What's up with that?

Ad blocker? Is this software that you can purchase? Do you mind sharing this on this site? Never thought anything like that was available but I have never claimed to be the brightest bulb in the ceiling especially when it comes to computers/IPads/smart phones etc. :coolsmiley:

adblock plus is free to use as an extension. Also, clean your computer cookies regularly

gee, I have a very old computer with vacuum tubes. The political ads I'm seeing are for some guy Ronald Reagan. Hmm he seems kinda old, not sure if he'll win.

I have Adblock Plus, and something else that stop other sites tracking me from DuckDuckGo.
Never see an advert on TOTV.
