Healthcare Workers and Covid

By September 1, over half million US healthcare workers have tested positive with Covid. That number would be more, but many were never tested, due to no symptoms.
Most wearing a 95, plus a mask, some also a face shield, gown gloves, booties, and a hat.
All while washing hands up to 50 times a day, sometimes more.

Gives a moment of pause to reflect on even with all the PPEs one could still be the next to test positive.

I think I remember that you were or are a health care worker. If that is so we all thank you.

Yes. Even with all the PPEs one COULD test positive. The little virus bastards are extremely small and this Covid-19 is extremely contagious.

We all know what that means. Those who serve are hero's and the rest of us need to be very careful, especially those who could very well die from it.

Health Care Workers

They truly are the hero's for humanity. Our son works in a Rehab that cares for people who have been "brain damaged". The age's run from infants to Seniors. The workers have had to wear protective gowns, face masks, gloves, and they have to change the gowns and gloves every time they go from one unit to another. So far none of their patients have caught the virus. A few of the staff have caught the virus and therefore some have to work double shifts to cover for the ones who are out. They are tested a couple of times a week and then wait to hear the results. When I hear that some don't want to wear masks it make you sick since they are putting others at high risk. It's call being "selfish"!:ohdear:
