Discount on Sliding Doors
 

My left handed friend sliced a ball towards a house hitting and destroying a hanging plant. The ball then continued towards a closed sliding glass door, which the ball also shattered. My friend went up to the owner, apologized for the damage, and offered to pay for all the damages.
The home owner looked around to make sure his wife wasn't listening to the conversation, and told my friend he hated that damn hanging plant anyway, so not to worry about that. So my friend asked the owner to get an estimate on the door, and the owner said he already knew how much it costs because he had it replaced once before. So my friend wrote him a check and gave the guy his name and address should the cost be higher than the check he wrote.
A week later the owner sent a $15 check back to my friend saying the supplier had replaced so many glass windows for this owner, that he was giving the owner a discount. The discount was $15

In MY humble opinion.....
.....there is responsibility.....and...
............there is INTEGRITY.

The homeowner ALSO knows that the $ insurance
DEDUCTIBLE was a burden they would not have to bear....
.because the errant Golfer has INTEGRITY.
