Allstar garage door opener remote
 

If anyone is replacing an older allstar garage door opener and still have a working remote, I would like to have it. Our opener is in good condition but remote is shot. Use remote in car but need a spare . Thanks.

I purchased a replacement clicker at NorthShoreDoorParts.com. It cost $18.00. This was the cheapest replacement I found on the internet.

You could buy a replacement remote control system with a remote control. I electronically disabled my built in remote control receivers in my door openers, and replaced the remote control receivers with the more secure changing codes remote control receivers and remotes. The simple, non-changing code systems can easily be cloned by a criminal if the criminal is within a short distance of your location when you use your simple non-changing code remote control. Then the criminal returns later and opens your garage door with his cloned remote control. The more secure changing code system prevents that from occurring.

You also need to remove the emergency cord opener, and tie wrap the hardware. Otherwise, a criminal can open your overhead door in 30 seconds using a coat hanger. The criminal can then easily get into your house, if you don’t lock the service door from the garage to the house. A large percentage of people never lock the door between their house and garage.

We added a "Smart WiFi Switch Garage Door Opener Remote Controller" to the opener from Ebay $10, now we can use phone or Alexa

Go to the people who installed it romac lumber on rolling acres drive. take your remote with you and they will reprogram a new one for you. Very convenient
