Believe in america

I believe in America. My neighbors believe in America All my friends believe in America My whole family believes in America In fact everyone I know believes in America. Truthfully, do you know anyone who doesn’t believe in America? Exactly, neither do I. So help me God!

If some of the looney tunes get power, it could be the last of what we know it to be. I can’t imagine who would be filling all the positions of power! Can you imagine?

Happy to hear that and while I know this thread won't be lasting long what exactly does "believe" in America mean? What are we believing? If you mean "do l love my country", absolutely do but not sure what I am supposed to "believe"? After hearing some quack radiologist Dr being interviewed by/on RUSSIAN TV (RT) FROM THE WHITE HOUSE today I don't know what to believe anymore but YES, I LOVE MY COUNTRY, just can't BELIEVE what is happening to it.

Edit: The "quack" in question apologized: "I recently did an interview with RT and was unaware they are a registered foreign agent. I regret doing the interview and apologize for allowing myself to be taken advantage of. I especially apologize to the national security community who is working hard to defend us."

And on it goes.

I do love my country very much and believe in the principles on which it stands. What I don't care for is the characterization of folks (who don't agree with you) in extreme language such as - "Those people are communists" or "Those people are fascists". Listening to the loyal opposition usually yields better solutions/legislation. If I thought I had a solution to the polarization that we face, I would run for Congress - not that anyone would listen to me.

I put my life in harms way to take up arms for this Country in the 60's during a very unpopular war. I saw many my age go home in a coffin. I would do it all again if my Country ask me to. I do know a lot of people who do not believe in the values this Country was founded on. It makes me very upset.

Thank you for your service. My brother received the Purple Heart in that “war.” He also received cancer from agent orange.

Fact check pls. There is a Truth in Advertising law. Too bad it is not enforced for political ads. The public deserve & really need it.

thomas jefferson the third usa president, the primary author of our constitution said " the tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots & tyrants.
Well applying his formula means anarchists lives must be forfeit as well as the masters that employ them to subvert our american way of life. Every president takes an oath to protect our country from all enemies foreign or domestic. So step 1 is to pinpoint the anarchists and their masters and bring them to justice by any and all means necessary including taking their lives if warranted.
Step 2. Pinpoint the masters and arrest them and take them to guantanamo as enemy combatants to cut off the heads of the
traitorous snakes and their organizations.
Step 3. If there really no such thing as a free press anymore and which has been lying to the public and inciting violence they should be nationalized and run by true people of character and public trust. That goes for 100 % of them.
You cannot defeat americas domestic anarchists with harsh language.
They must be defeated permanently by any and all means necessary.
Woe is me will not carry the day. Its the mantra of a loser
patrick henry is famous for saying " give me liberty or give me death!". Our mantra will be to support our president to defend this country against all enemies both foreign and domestic.

Served my country for 23 years. Went to war. Ill say what alot think.

Too polarized. What we really want. Adhere to the constitution. Money out of politics. Best decisions made for us not big business. Freedom. Smaller government. Effective transparent programs.

Bikeracer2009 11-02-2020 07:34 AM

Believing in America is not just a one sided argument. To suggest that someone doesn't believe in America because they don't also believe in your opinions is Nazi ism. That's just my opinion.

To wave the flag and exclaim that only a truly patriotic America will see things my way. To have your own thoughts and ideas that differ mean you hate your country and want to destroy everything it stands for.

My favorite song is "The Sound of Silence". Both the old version and the new one by the group Disturbed. It's only after you ignore the talking heads and the thousands that listen without thinking that you hear the sound of silence.
