buying beer

Does anyone know if and where I can buy pony bottles of beer ( 7 oz.)? I don't drink much beer, but sometimes an ice cold half a beer tastes great.

Finally, a posted question with great significance! Actually, I'm only half-kidding. With the hot temps down there, wasting beer could really add up. Where I grew up, wasting beer was considered some kind of sin.
A few years ago when I was still a beer drinker, we had these beer containers that we kept in the freezer. These beer holders had a layer of frozen ice that kept my beer cold for long periods of time. All my buddies were using them.

Give ABC Wine & Spirits a call. They are located in the far corner of the Home Depot shopping center. They have a large selection and may carry what you're looking for.

I can't pass up the opportunity for a comment. My grandmother (who passed at age 104) drank one of those 7 oz Miller "nips" every night with dinner. We would buy her a case whenever she ran low. A case of nips however was always more expensive than if we had bought her the same Miller beer in 12 oz bottles. We were never able to convince her to drink just a glass and then to throw the rest of the beer away. So to keep her happy, we continued to buy her the case of nips until she passed. But maybe I can convince quiltsheddy that sometimes those pony size bottles cost more.

Hijacking a thread again...

My dad and grandfather were German Brewmasters in Columbus, Ohio.

I grew up in a home that had three taps in the kitchen. Hot and cold water and beer.

I am convinced that is why Sweetie married me.
