Home Inspection Companies--Recommendations?
 

We just bought a house and need to find a good home inspection company. Any suggestions or companies to stay away from? Is Certified Home Inspections a good company?

We bought last Dec and called Frank D; he was at that time doing new house inspections only; but recommended Comer Inspections. He came out day before Christmas and did an excellent job and had report that afternoon.
Very knowledgeable and thoroughly went through house and explained what he was looking for.

We were very happy with Steve Lightcap of HouseMaster Home Inspections. His cell is 352-267-9132. As a side note, over 5 years after we hired him for our home inspection, he recently did a free update to our wind mitigation report for us that had to be done because we changed our home owners policy to a different company. Steve is the best.

Comer did our first TV house 2 years ago and we just used him last week for our most recent TV purchase.. He does a _VERY_ thorough job. He catches stuff you'd never think about at all.
