Kudos to Battery Boys
 

Kudos to the Battery Boys. About four months ago I bought a set of cart batteries from them, and installed them myself. Unfortunately I didn’t install one correctly, leaving a lead loose. Well yesterday that battery blew the stem off, due to the poor connection, and the cart stopped. I went to see Roger at Battery Boys to purchase a replacement, and when we were loading the new battery into my car he suggested a trick where I buy a “fat” cable from Walmart, and try replacing the now defunct cable with this fat cable. This would only work on the Deka batteries they sell, as Deka has four connectors on each battery (two small and two fat stems), not the normal two. So I got the cable and lo and behold it worked! I took the battery back today to Roger who held my check during the time to see if his suggestion worked. These guys really are good!!
