How is the Water Lily bridge progressing?
 

I have been gone for the last month and a half. I just read about Brownwood bridge and Meggison road opening. Have any of you been by Water Lily recently? Thanks

They've made a lot of progress, much of the approach ramps and the connection over the pipeline is in place.

Relative to what I saw for the Chitty Chatty bridge, I would not be surprised if it opened Feb/March. Others may have a better idea.

This is a view of the bridge from the north side of the turnpike, taken earlier today. A lot of progress being made on the ramp. More progress on the ramp has been done on the south side.

Now that the Brownwood Bridge (and Meggison) is open you can drive and watch the progress. Wide open spaces now but give it a few months, it is a fun ride.

I'm very close to the second cousin of the bag boy who works at The Publix located on SR44, who spent his winter break with the foreman in charge of the final construction phase of the bridge who advised him that the projected completion date of the Water Lily bridge is currently Friday, February 5th, 2021, subject to change.......

Here's a shot from the south side taken Christmas morning. They've now set the precast spans that bridge the gas pipeline in place, so it looks like all the heavy lifting is done. Ramp work making good progress as well.
